Events Happening at the Store

Kick Start Monday: Join us to get a jump on the week ahead. We’ll provide the tables, chairs, extension cords, iron, ironing surface, and a cutting mat. Bring your handwork, beverage, and lunch. If you’re bringing your sewing machine, please call 831-375-4453 to reserve a spot. When you arrive, pull up in front of Back Porch Fabrics to unload. Dates: Monday, December 9, 16, 23, 30. 10:30 to 4:00.

UFO Finish it Friday: Bring whatever you’re working on. Again, we’ll provide the basics listed above. Ditto about bringing handwork and sewing machines. Dates: Friday, December 6, 13, 20, 27. 10:30 to 4:00.

White Wine Friday: At 4:00, we’ll pause our work and toast one another for a day and a week that were well spent. Our treat. Dates: Friday, December 6, 13, 20, 27. 4:00 to 5:00.

Small Quilt Groups are welcome to reserve our sewing area any day except Monday and Friday. Call 831-375-4453 between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m., or Sunday noon to 4:00.

Event Parking: All day parking is available a block away behind the theater at Fountain and Laurel. Look for the 4 or 5 rows closest to Laurel. Or, more all day street parking available above Laurel. Incidentally, parking on Grand Avenue is limited to three hours.
