FAQs: Gift Certificates & Customer Rewards

1. Can I still use a gift certificate issued by the previous owners?
Yes, we are honoring valid gift certificates from Gail and Gary until December 31, 2025. Please bring your original certificate to the store, and we’ll assist you in redeeming it.

2. Is there a deadline to redeem old gift certificates?
Yes, the firm deadline is December 31, 2025. Also, as long as Gail and Gary are still available and the computer that manages the program is still operational.

3. How can I check the balance of my old gift certificate?
You can bring your gift certificate to the store and we will check the computer records.

4. Will progress towards customer rewards still be valid?
No, going forward only earned rewards certificates will be honored.

5. What is an existing reward certificate?
This is a certificate that was earned by reaching a total of $200 in purchases. Progress towards rewards is not being maintained under the new ownership. For example, if you have spent $175 and not yet earned a reward certificate, that progress is not carrying forward.

6. What if I lost my gift or reward certificate?
We’ll do our best to assist you. Please stop by the store so we can check our computer records.

7. What if I never had a paper copy of my reward certificate?
Our staff will do our best to look up your account on the computer.

8. Will the new owner offer a loyalty or rewards program?
No, instead we are lowering the prices on all the bolts of fabric.

9. Are there any restrictions on using old gift certificates or rewards?
No, as long as Gail and Gary are still available, the gift certificates can be used on any merchandise in the store. However, they may not be used to purchase new certificates.

10. What happens if my gift certificate or rewards exceed the total purchase amount?
Any remaining balance will be applied as credit toward a future purchase, subject to our updated policies.

11. Can gift certificates or rewards be transferred to someone else? No.

12. What happens if the computer system is no longer operational or records are unavailable?
If the system becomes unavailable, we may no longer be able to honor old gift certificates or rewards. We recommend redeeming them as soon as possible.

13. Can I use my old gift certificate for online purchases or special orders?
Currently, old gift certificates can only be redeemed in-store and cannot be used for online purchases or special orders.

14. Can I combine multiple gift certificates or rewards for one purchase?

Yes, you are welcome to combine multiple valid gift certificates or rewards toward a single purchase.

15. What happens if Gail and Gary are no longer available?
If Gail and Gary are no longer available, we will not be able to honor previous gift certificates. Please use them soon.

16. Are gift certificates or rewards valid during sales or special promotions?
Yes, gift certificates are valid during sales or promotions unless otherwise specified.

17. What if I have a dispute about the balance or validity of a gift or reward certificate?
If there is a dispute, we will do our best to resolve it by reviewing available records. Please contact our staff with any concerns.

18. Can I get a refund for unused gift certificates or rewards?
No, we do not provide refunds for unused gift certificates or rewards, but they can be used for any eligible purchases in-store.

19. How will you communicate any updates to this policy?
Any changes to our gift certificate or rewards policy will be announced in-store and on our website to keep customers informed. There is an update on December 10, 2024 with a change. There is now a deadline of December 31, 2025 to use existing certificates.

20. Can I use my old gift certificate alongside other payment methods?
Yes, if your purchase exceeds the value of your gift certificate, you can pay the balance using another accepted payment method.
